Von 5. bis 7. Februar 2025 begaben sich VertreterInnen verschiedener slowakischer Unternehmen gemeinsam mit KollegInnen von EIT Manufacturing East auf eine Reise, um das Potenzial österreichischer F&E-Zentren zu erkunden. Organisiert von EIT Manufacturing in Zusammenarbeit mit SOVA Digital und EDIH Expandi, bot die Tour einen umfassenden Einblick in führende Forschungsinstitute und Unternehmen wie AVL, Infineon, Joanneum Research, Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH und TU Wiens IFT – Institut für Fertigungstechnik und Photonische Technologien.
Die Reise umfasste auch informative Gespräche mit dem AC Styria Mobility Cluster und dem SiliconAlps Cluster, die wertvolle Einblicke in deren Strategien und die laufende Zusammenarbeit zwischen Industrie und Wissenschaft vermittelten. Diese Diskussionen lieferten wertvolle Erkenntnisse für die slowakische Industrie.

Tracing Innovative Technology – The Slovak R&D Tour through Austria
From 5th to 7th February 2025, representatives of various Slovak companies, together with colleagues from EIT Manufacturing East, set off on a journey to explore the potential of Austrian R&D centres. Organised by EIT Manufacturing in collaboration with SOVA Digital and EDIH Expandi, the tour provided a comprehensive insight into leading research institutes and companies such as AVL, Infineon, Joanneum Research, Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH and TU Wien´s IFT (Institute of Production Engineering and Photonic Technologies).
The journey also included informative discussions with AC Styria Mobility Cluster and SiliconAlps Cluster, offering valuable insights into their strategies and ongoing collaboration between industry and academia. These discussions yielded important insights for the Slovak industry.

Po stopách inovácií – slovenská výskumno-vývojová cesta v Rakúsku
V dňoch 5. až 7. februára 2025 sa zástupcovia slovenských firiem spolu s kolegami z EIT Manufacturing East vydali na inšpiratívnu cestu za poznaním rakúskych výskumno-vývojových centier. Túto misiu zorganizoval EIT Manufacturing v spolupráci so spoločnosťou SOVA Digital a EDIHom Expandi 4.0, pričom účastníci mali možnosť nahliadnuť do popredných výskumných inštitúcií a firiem, ako sú AVL, Infineon, Joanneum Research, Virtual Vehicle, či Ústavu výrobného inžinierstva a fotonických technológií Technickej univerzity vo Viedni.
Súčasťou programu boli aj podnetné diskusie so zástupcami AC Styria Mobility Cluster a SiliconAlps Cluster, ktorí sa podelili o svoje skúsenosti s posilňovaním inovačného ekosystému v regióne a prepájaním biznisu s akademickou obcou. Tieto poznatky môžu byť prínosné aj pre rozvoj slovenského priemyslu.
Veľká vďaka patrí všetkým firmám a výskumným inštitúciám za ich pohostinnosť, ako aj účastníkom, ktorí prispeli k úspechu tejto výnimočnej cesty.
